Mission at Tanglin Secondary School: Operation Early Bird
On the 20th Nov, TRG was invited to conduct a mission at Tanglin Secondary School for their Student Leaders Camp. As the Mission is commencing at 0900 hrs, we are calling it Operation: Early Bird (I know its not very original).
We played a variety of missions -
First off, we have a very short Free-For-All, so that all the players will have a better understanding of the mechanism of the Guardian Rifles and know how to achieve a good aiming posture.
After that, we have a 3 games of Team Elimination, in which the objective is to totally take out the opposing team, but you only have 12 minutes to do it. Plus the fact that each player have 20 tages, which means that you would need to tag or shoot them 20 times before he or she will 'Game Over'. It is certainly not easy. We even have the teachers participating in the games.
We see a lot of flanking manoeuvres, counter flanks, sniping, ambushes and sneak attacks. All in all, there is great fun and a lot of physical workout. As TRG is a true none contact sport, there is no injuries even though there are lots of running around and everyone had a lot of fun.
After the Team Elimination, we briefed the players on the use of the Rockets and allowed them to seek out rockets which we have hidden all over the battle ground. And soon we are seeing rockets flying here and there.
The final match see the players playing Tagzmasters, in which we have 2 Tagzmasters fighting against 14 players. Although we see remarkable teamwork in the students, they are still no match for the TRG Tagzmasters, who had been training regularly and for a long time already.
The Mission was concluded at around 1230 hrs, and I really hoped that the Warriors of Tanglin Sec enjoyed themselves.
Here are some photos taken during that day:
The players listening to the briefing given by Raider.
The first team to start the Game.
ANother Team having a Group photo taken.
Even the teacher was not spared....
Snipers of the Day.
To confirm that this is a Beautiful Day, when we are leaving the School, we even caught a rainbow.
